The Capitol Hill Association of Merchants and Professionals
Films on the Hill is grateful to the CHAMPS Foundation for providing the funding for our 10 x 10 screen and our twin 16mm projectors.
The Capitol Hill Association of Merchants and Professionals (CHAMPS) is a community business organization which promotes and develops business and professional activity on Capitol Hill. In the 13 years since its inception, CHAMPS has grown to include more than
250 business people in more than 100 occupations.
Founded in 1989 to support non-profit organizations in the community, the CHAMPS Community Foundation has become Capitol Hill's community foundation, attracting support from neighborhood residents and friends, as well as the business and professional community. The Foundation gave more than $100,000 in grants to neighborhood non-profits and community organizations in the past year. Administrative costs are entirely supported by CHAMPS--every cent that is contributed is spent to fund arts and social service programs for Capitol Hill residents.
The CHAMPS Foundation has 501(c)3 status and all donations are tax deductible. To join CHAMPS or for more information call 202-547-7788 or visit the CHAMPS website.
FILMS ON THE HILL is a project of the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop.
